Purpose: This 4 1/2-day course covers the technical and managerial aspects of auditor-in-charge (AIC) responsibilities. The course provides detailed instruction on reviewing findings, marketing audit services, and personnel management.
Learning Objective: After completing this course, students should have a basic understanding of selected facets of the planning, execution, and reporting phases of an audit and possess skills that will enable them to function effectively as senior auditors.
Learning Objective: Students will understand how to implement, and the need for implementing the QC Checklist – planning for a successful audit that meets government audit standards.
Learning Objective: Be able to explain the benefits of coordinating with command liaison personnel to increase audit efficiency and effectiveness.
Learning Objective: Be able to describe the auditor’s role in fraud investigations and as a member of a fraud investigative team, and be able to discuss the auditing standards relating to fraud detection/investigation.
Learning Objective: Be able to identify guidance and tools for conducting an audit and perform selected audit execution functions.
